  Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a so-called special mucopolysaccharide that occurs naturally in the human body. It is the most effective humectant available, that is a substance that promotes retention of moisture. HA is able to bind water within the intercellular structure of the skin. Its unmatched hydrating properties increase smoothness and soften and decrease wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in tissue hydration, lubrication and cellular function, and can hold 70% more water than any other natural substance. It also improves elasticity and reduces oxidative stress.

  Peptides: Amino acids are the building blocks of life, the natural constituents of living tissues. Our body is made up of proteins (like collagen and elastin), which are long chains of amino acids joined together. A peptide is a chain of 2 to 20 amino acids. There are 20 different amino acids, some known as “essential”. These cannot be synthesized on their own.
