I use it immediately after showering. Work a small pea-sized amount together on my wet palms and massage into my wet hair. Then just a comb or brush sets my hair perfectly. I honestly never give it a second thought. If I happen to catch myself in a store window or a mirror somewhere my hair always looks neatly in place the way I like it. One can lasts me several months. A great, reliable product. And I like the clean understated fragrance.
