Key ingredients:
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate: A stable form of vitamin C that is considered an analogue of L-ascorbic acid. Unlike pure vitamin C (ascorbic acid), tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is lipid (fat) soluble. Research shows this form of vitamin C has a greater affinity for skin because its fatty acid component helps aid penetration. It pairs well with other forms of vitamin C and retinol for enhanced effectiveness.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8: A solution of the anti-wrinkle hexapeptide with a Botulinum Toxin-like mechanism of action. It reduces the depth of the wrinkles on the face caused by the contraction of muscles of facial expression, especially in the forehead and around the eyes.
Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract: A brown algae also named golden seaweed. Epidermis cell protection, UV induced inflammation reduction, Inflammatory amplification reduction, Sun Burn Cells reduction, DNA protection, Anti-dehydration and hydration properties.
Aquaxyl: A hyaluronic acid booster. It optimizes the circulation of water throughout all layers of the skin. It can limit water loss through its barrier which is reinforced in 24 hours. This barrier retains water through its essential lipids. It can be added to skin care products for face and body with anti-aging and hydrating indications.
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5: A Tetrapeptide (argireline) with anti-oedema properties and a proven efficacy in reducing puffy eyes. tetrapeptide-5 has been shown to reduce puffiness and swelling by changing the micro-circulation in the skin in this area, making it less permeable to fluid.
Squalene: Extracted from olive oil, squalene is 100% plant derived. The ingredient closely resembles sebum, the protective oil created by the body itself. The ingredient's humectant properties also aid the penetration and retention of other beneficial ingredients. Ubiquinone Coenzyme Q10: Prevents, very effectively, oxidative stress in human skin cells. Furthermore, it protects from chronological and photo-aging of dermal fibroplasts. It reduces the negative effects of photo-aging which is shown by reducing the depth of wrinkles. Algae Extract Anti-oxidant from the sea which stimulates cell communication and is an energy booster. Punica Granatum Seed Oil: Contains over 60% punicic acid, a conjugated fatty acid containing three double bonds. This fatty acid is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent, a free radical scavenger and can help strengthen the epidermis, thus helping the resolution of wrinkles and fine lines. The oil also has excellent antioxidant, moisturizing and nourishing properties, making it ideal for incorporation into products for mature and ageing, dry and cracked, irritated and sunburn skin. It is a powerful antioxidant, natural phytoestrogen and rare plant-based source of omega 5 fatty acid.
Sodium Hyaluronate: Salt form of skin-replenishing ingredient hyaluronic acid; considered more effective for skin than pure hyaluronic acid due to its greater compatibility.
