• Haeckels Pluviophile Rain Candle - Raindrops hitting dry coastal promenades.

  This candle captures Petrichor the scent of rain on dry earth , or the scent of dust after rain. The word is constructed from greek, petros, meaning ‘stone’ + ichor, the fluid that flows in the veins of the gods in Greek mythology. It is defined as “the distinctive scent which accompanies the first rain after a long warm dry spell”.

  Top Notes: earth, ozone
  Heart Notes: ozone and salt
  Base Notes: moss, concrete

  Made with a high quality woven cotton wick and eco-friendly soy wax in a thick glass surround.

  • How To Use

  • For the first time that you burn your Haeckels candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours, or until the whole top is liquid with wax. This allows for an even burn the next time it is used.
